Chris joined the firm in 2021. Prior to MTI, Chris spent over five-years as an intellectual property attorney, working with Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner P.A. and Dykema Gossett PLLC. He obtained his Law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2015. Chris is a licensed attorney in Minnesota and is a registered Patent Attorney before of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. As an attorney, Chris advised clients regarding patent acquisition, portfolio due diligence, and infringement analysis. Chris also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2006). He started his career as a mechanical engineer for Motorola Solutions, inc. and GN Resound for a total of six-years prior to attending law school. Chris now resides in southwest Minneapolis with his wife Katie and dog Elsie. In his free time, Chris enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing, traveling, photography, and hiking.
